GREEN CHILE CHICKEN POSOLE2 cups dried posole Place posole and water in a large heavy stock pot, cover and simmer until kernels pop and are tender, about 4 hours. Add more water as needed to keep posole covered. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer uncovered for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with warm flour tortillas. Makes 4 to 6 bowlfuls.
